Nov 2022 Update!

Howdy!

Maybe you have noticed that we slowed down on the social side of things, and it’s for good reason too! We’re focusing the free time we have finishing book 2.

In terms of status, we’re still in the ~60% or so. I took some vacation and started working as a developer again, plus we discovered an issue with the Sanbi castle design that arose from book 1 chapter 3 - 3. Since we can’t go back to fix book 1, I spent some time tweaking the blueprints to fix it, then bugging Mitsukiven as we synced Book 2 draft illustrations.

Aside that, I’m now focused on writing draft 1 chapter 4 (out of 8) At this rate I think getting draft 1 by middle of Jan 2023 seems doable. Draft 2, for me, is more focused on pacing, plot holes, checking character behavior, or additional info rather than a full rewrite, so they tend to go faster.
