August 2022 Update! Price Drop + Book 2 info

Howdy!

Thanks have been quiet on the website, but I did a post a few pics on the social media after physically meeting Mitsukiven for the first time in Malaysia. There was a taste of accomplishment signing the three book proofs together!

We also started to discuss book 2, and tweaks to workflow. Will post more WIP pictures here and there on social to tantalize you with where things are heading… huehuehue

Last, upon further evaluation, I decide to permanently drop the prices of the eBook from $9.99 to $4.99 and the POD book from $30.39 to $29.39. This change will go into effect in 10 days or so (~8/12/2022)

*POD is really high because of the costs. I honestly only make a buck or so of it, so I’m only making available if you really, really, realllllllyyyy want one since it is kinda spendy. I wanted that option to print to close friends and family, plus having a few as memento for myself :)

Part of the reason for that decision is further realizing Bookbaby’s line edit was not as through as it should have been since they have a factory mindset, rather than building a relationship of going back and forth with a single specialist. There’s also the fact that my writing voice is being hampered due to English not being my first language…

I mean, to be fair, it’s my first book, so I just didn’t have an internal barometer, but I’m finally developing one. If you were one of the few that bought at higher price, then consider yourself an early support of this endeavor. If we ever meet, then I can pay your kindness with Churrasco and beer as I am always up for cooking and drinking with friends hehe.
